Looking for a way to delete all your tweets at once? There are many reasons because of which you may want to delete all your tweets, some of which you can find below:
1. Account spammed by a Twitter application.
2. Too many same tweets which are looking odd.
3. Account hacked & used to tweet something you didn’t like.
4. Many others!
Unfortunately Twitter doesn’t allow a service to delete all tweets & that’s one of the reasons we have to depend on other external applications to delete all tweets! Here are top 4 Twitter apps I use to delete all my tweets.
How To Delete My Tweets?
1. Tweet Eraser
Tweet Eraser is my favorite application to delete all my tweets. It’s very easy to use & very fast as well! All you have to do is to visit Tweet Eraser homepage, login with your Twitter account credentials & authorize Tweet Eraser application. After authorization, you can sort tweets on the basis of your search query, hash tags, etc.
Tweet Eraser will automatically calculate the number of tweets in your account. Unfortunately by the new Twitter API rules, Tweet Eraser has an hourly limit of 350 tweet deletions. So I fear you may not be able to delete over 350 tweets per hour. That’s not a big problem as after an hour you can reuse the application!
2. Twitlan
This is the second best application I have ever used to delete all my tweets. Unlike Tweet Eraser, this tool doesn’t offer any options. It simply loads all your tweets and then you can select all or some of the tweets and delete them in a click!
You can load any number of tweets. I loaded 100 tweets & successfully deleted them.
3. Delete My Tweets
This is a third alternative to delete all your tweets and is very easy to use. Simply visit Delete My Tweets homepage, authorize your Twitter account. Your tweets will load and you can then delete all of them.
I guess Delete My Tweets is based on WordPress. Well it doesn’t matter on what it’s based as long as it’s working. ;-)
4. Twit Wipe
This was the first tool I tried to delete all my tweets, but I faced some problems with it. Sometimes this just hanged and sometimes it said that it had deleted the tweets, but the tweets didn’t disappear from my Twitter profile! So I am not sure if this tool will work for you.
So guys, how is the above list? Were you able to delete all your tweets using the tools mentioned above or did you sue any other application to delete all tweets or are you among the ones not wanting to delete all tweets? Please do let us know as we are most interested in hearing from you!

How secure Are these websites when I log into them?
Deleting ALL is easy, disable your account and start over ;-)
You might consider renaming it first te ensure your accountname is available still..
And deleting all is hard because very old tweets are not available anymore except in Google maybe.
Furthermore: When you delete your tweets Google will still find them..
Good luck!
Just want to let the Author and others know, that there is also an iPhone/iPad App for this that should be added to the list:
Tweeticide – Delete All of Your Tweets at Once!

Thanks for the list. Useful! :)
Twitwipe is often unavailable. I just used Twitlan successfully. What is harder to do is get tweets removed from Topsy; there is a way, but it is only mildly successful. Go to Topsy, click top right onto ‘Twitter” and it logs in to your Twitter account. Then click on “Synch” on the right hand side, and wait about 20 minutes.
