Familiar with the above conversation? I’s common! If you can’t buy a digital product for free, use Google and there you have it. Over the years, people’s attitude has changed. When you can get a digital product for free online, why buy it? This common attitude has led to an increase in online piracy numbers.
Not a long time back, people used to be honest and considered buying original goods. It also gave them a feeling of security. But today, it’s all gone. I don’t say everyone supports piracy, but yes, most of the people do. Here’s an infograph designed by Go-Globe.Com (Beijing Web Designers) listing some cool facts about online piracy.
The infograph enlightens you about the rise of online piracy, loss occurred due to online piracy, most pirated goods, regions topping in online piracy, countries topping in inline piracy, most pirated items, most pirated movies, most pirated songs, most pirated games, most pirated software, most pirated e-books and some interesting facts about online piracy!
Some Cool Facts About Online Piracy
- 70% of Online Users Find Nothing Wrong in Online Piracy or in short 70% of online users support piracy!
- 22% of internet bandwidth is used for online piracy (upload, download, etc).
- 1 / 10,000 is the ratio of non-copyrighted content and copyrighted content.
- Piracy is one of the reasons for rising unemployment.

Wasn’t that infograph interesting? Guys, piracy is increasing with each passing day. What do you think is the reason behind increasing online piracy? Is it the increasing population? Is it unawareness? Is it the changing mindset of people? Or is it something else?

Nice try, ACTA… it’s a beautiful and usual infographic, but where this numbers come from? The unemployement have nothing to do with the crisis of the financial system, only with the “piracy”? Many answers and a lot more questions…
